of the insurances in the HPAI or SYH block insurance
groups this means that there are several people
on the same policy, so we ask you to be mundful
of this when carrying out your work. Please adhere
to Codes of Conduct and Government Guidelines,
remember any mistakes reflect on us all as a group
and may result in higher premiums. Let's keep

client records for all therapies including healing
this isnow a requirement of our insurance
company. We teach this within our healing
course. (I would also advise you to keep records
for your mediumship and psychic practices)*
PLEASE READ: It really
pains me to have to put this on the site but
there are a few people out there who are abusing
our goodwill. This is a non profit making group
and all work that is put into the running of
this group is voluntary as is the help and advice
we give. We are quite happy to give advice to
any of our paid up members that need it but
please realise that we too have lives to lead
and need to make a living, if you ring and we
say we are busy or working then that is the
case. We will give you an alternative day or
time to ring, so please do not ring 10 minutes
after you have spoken to us and expect us to
have finished working.

not for people whose membership has lapsed 6
months ago. Our courses are copyright and are
not to be used as your own work (this is plagarism,
and is against the law). Please do not abuse
the priviledges this group offers, we do not
want to be forced to employ someone to ease
the workload as this will result in high membership
fees.

is a disclosure?
A Disclosure is a document
containing impartial and confidential criminal
history information held by the police and government
departments which can be used by employers to
make safer recruitment decisions.
Disclosure information could include:
• Details of criminal records
• Information about a persons inclusion
on children's or adults' lists
• Other relevant information held by a
local police force or Government Body
• Or state that there is no information

Spiritual/Metaphysical
Healing is complementary to, not instead of, allopathic
treatment. It is given as an aid to the healing
of mind, body, and spirit by means of prayer,
meditation and the laying on of hands. Whilst
Healers do not promise a cure and do not diagnose,
we are confident that some benefit will usually
be received by most patients. Healing is often
used to supplement other forms of treatment the
patient may be receiving from a General Practitioner
or Hospital. Our Healers will always encourage
patients to follow or continue treatment recommended
by their medical practitioner. When a patient
is referred to a Healer by a doctor, the doctor
remains responsible for the patient. We recommend
that all our healers ask clients to sign a disclaimer
to show that they understand this.
Consumer
Protection from Unfair Trading
The Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951 has been repealed
by the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading
2007 (CPR's) which implement the Unfair Commercial
Practices Directive (UCPD).
The Government response is that:
The Consumer Protection Regulations implement
the EC Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.
The Directive harmonises Member States' laws protecting
consumers from unfair trading. It requires traders
in all sectors not to behave unfairly towards
consumers. The Consumer Protection Regulations
will apply to the activities of all persons acting
in trade or business connected with the supply
of goods and services to consumers. The Regulations
will prohibit those activities that are misleading
or aggressive. So the Regulations will not affect
the supply of Spiritualistic services in themselves.
They will however apply to Misleading activities
related to the supply of such services.

of complementary therapies are not intended
to replace allopathic/traditional medical treatment
and care. They are intended to work side by
side with these treatments. Nor are they intended
to replace proper diagnoses and/or treatment
by a qualified medical practitioner.
Therefore you accept that no specific results
can be guaranteed by the therapist/practitioner
and that any guidance given to you is for you
to consider only. Any decisions and choices
that you make as a result of that guidance or
any consultation are your own legal and personal
responsibility, both now and in the future.
You take full responsibility for understanding
and agreeing to the terms as outlined above.
You further accept that the consultation offered
to you is not intended as a replacement for
conventional medical treatment, but is a complementary
therapy that is intended to work side by side

Yorkshire Healers and Yorkshire Mediums Code
of Conduct
We
are a little strict with our membership requirements
but not excessively so, wouldn't you rather be
with an organisation that works within the law
and tries to keep everything above board ?
We
reserve the right to refuse, cancel or revoke
membership at any time and without prior notice
if deemed necessary.

We
are one of the cheapest 'overall' providers
of insurance for Healing, Mediumship and Therapies
to individuals - that is annual membership
plus insurance price combined.

are new to healing we will train you to a
recognised standard. This can be achieved through various
methods (prices and details on application).
Fully
qualified healers (including Reiki Healers
upon approval of trainer), although your current
qualifications will be honoured and taken
into account, you will still need to meet
our criteria. , some study and coursework may be
required.
